Quinn Caya, LMT, RYT, serves individuals with a range of goals and health concerns through private yoga instruction, massage and energy therapy. He is known for an intuitive, deliberate approach and a unique understanding of the dynamic relationship between energy, posture and movement.
Quinn has a lifetime of experience with massage therapy, natural healing and yoga science. He spent much of his childhood in residence at Kripalu Yoga Ashram (1984-1992) where along with yoga sadhana (spiritual practice), massage was an integral part of self-care and family wellness. Quinn began to systematically explore traditional healing arts in his adolescence, and as an adult he has pursued education in natural healing, completing training programs in yoga, Dao-In, chi kung, martial arts, and energy / Reiki therapy. In 2009 Quinn graduated with high honors from the Medical Massage Therapy Program at Trocaire College in Buffalo, NY. There, he received specialized training in how to apply manual therapy for rehabilitation and specific medical conditions. With his wife Janet Hinkel, Quinn directs Yoga Therapeutics of Buffalo, formerly Sun Moon Yoga & Martial Arts, a studio he co-founded in 2004. He is a lead teacher in the Universal Yoga Program at the University at Buffalo. Quinn continues to study Iyengar Yoga with François Raoult at Open Sky Yoga Center in Rochester, NY.
