Private Yoga Courses
Private yoga courses create an opportunity for you to develop a yoga practice suitable to your stage of life, health history, and lifestyle. Good for beginning students and those with therapeutic concerns preparing for public classes.
Yoga Foundations I - An introductory course of private yoga lessons (6 - 8 weeks) for beginning yoga students. Preparation for / supportive of attendance of public yoga classes.
Yoga Foundations II - For intermediate students who have a personal yoga practice.
Restorative Yoga - Covers principles and practice methodology of restorative yoga. Encompasses restorative yoga postures, deep relaxation, yogic breathing, the relationship between stress, rest and vitality, balancing the autonomic nervous system to support tissue regeneration and healing and meditative awareness. Good for those with chronic pain, fatigue, illness and physical / mental tension.
Yoga for Back Care - For individuals with back care concerns (including low back pain, sciatica, hunched posture, neck pain and scoliosis). Course addresses the relationship between posture, pain and how to reestablish health through yoga postures for back care.
Learning Meditation - Addresses the fundamentals of meditation practice. Involves yoga postures and movements that promote ease in sitting meditation posture, breathing exercises and psychology of personal energy cultivation.
Personalized Programs
Personalized programs can be tailored to your interests, goals and challenges. Preparatory and ongoing study is available to those entering yoga teacher training programs. Beneficial to those looking manage occupation related physical issues.
